The tour follows a route on which you will discover our Mines’ most spectacular and unusual elements, such as the different mining techniques used for the last five centuries, the construction of the first gallery, the spectacular stairways carved out by human hand and many other surprises. Our guides’ and our artisans’ passion will go with you during this sensory voyage to the heart of the salt mountain.

After a demonstration of how our Fleur des Alpes is produced in our artisanal production plant, installed in the heart of the Mines, the tour will end on a high note. Depending on your taste: salted caramels, syrups, crisps, ranges of Salts with Organic Herbs etc. All your senses will be enraptured by your visit to the Bex Salt Mines!

A wonderful ambience awaits you, with a constant temperature of 18 degrees Celsius all year round. Our halls and galleries are well-lit and enjoy natural ventilation. For families, school excursions, company outings or trips out with friends, our passionately enthusiastic guides can adapt to any audience to open up the fantastic saga of Alpine salt; from its original legend to our last three miners who still extract this exceptionally pure white gold today.
